An 18-year-old male patient reported to the Department Of Prosthodontics & Crown and Bridge complaining of reduced mouth opening and pain in the right side of the Temporomandibular joint. After clinical examination, it was found that there was a clicking sound at the right TMJ while opening & closing movement. The patient was advised to wear an anterior deprogrammer appliance; follow-up was done every 21 days. Pain in the TMJ was markedly reduced after one week of wearing the appliance and mouth opening increased from 23mm to 26 mm after 1 month and after 2 months it increased to 40 mm (interincisal distance).
