Research Conclave Shodhotsav 1.0

The  Novel Research Conclave Shodhotsav 1.0 organized by the Department of Periodontology in collaboration with Institutional research and development committee (IRDC) and NIPAM (National intellectual Property Awareness Mission) at Saraswati Dental College and Hospital on 7th and 8th January 2025. The event was inaugurated  by Maj Gen ID Roy, Commandant & Command Dental Advisor, Central Command, CMDC , Lucknow.  The maiden Research conclave was exchange of ideas by Speakers  Ms Farha Bano Coordinator NIPAM, Dr Tanu Anand,Scientist - E,ICMR New Delhi, Dr SK Rath ,CDRI- CSIR,Prof Dr Rhythm, KGMU not only enhanced individual research projects but also contributed to the collective knowledge with the academic community. The conclave envisioned celebrating the scientific & research accomplishments of faculty, students from all healthcare disciplines. Distinguished researches delivered the lectures highlighting the importance of Research in Health Sciences IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) and its filing procedures, Research opportunities for students and faculty by ICMR, Key aspects of Research Proposals writing for extramural funding basics of scientific writing and IMRaD format, reference management system and common pitfalls in scientific writings etc,on how to conduct good quality research. The wonderful conclave provided an enriched forum & platform for the research scholars to discuss their interdisciplinary research activities. The excellent young research minds were also felicitated & awarded after being evaluated by a panel of experts. The two day workshop on Research was attended by over 300 participants from various dental and medical colleges in and around Lucknow.Research Conclave Shodhotsav 1.0 made a huge success with the guidance of Chairperson Mrs. Madhu Mathur; President, Dr. Rajat Mathur; Director, Dr. Smita Mathur; Principal, Dr. Kunal Sah; Heads of Department, Dr. Vivek Bains & Dr. Supratim Tripathi, Saraswati Dental College & Hospital, Lucknow.
