Subash Chandra Bose, also known as "Netaji," was one of India's most prominent and respected freedom fighters during the Indian independence movement. He was born in Cuttack, Odisha on January 23rd, 1897, and his birthday is celebrated as Subash Chandra Bose Jayanti or Netaji Jayanti. Bose was a strong leader and a charismatic speaker who rallied the Indian people to fight against British colonial rule. He formed the Indian National Army (INA) in 1942, also known as the Azad Hind Fauj, which was instrumental in the struggle for independence. Bose's contributions to India's freedom movement continue to be celebrated and remembered today, as a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and determination.
