The department is running Tobacco Intervention Initiative (TII) since 2014 and now the same under the name of Tobacco Cessation Centre (TCC) after its introduction in June 2018 according to DCI guidelines. Tobacco cessation and Control is practiced particularly with behavioural therapy and medication. Here we, create awareness among the people about the risk factors and preventive measures of cancer, its early detection and its timely treatment.
