Dr. Ravi Dwivedi
Introduction and Education
Dr Ravi Dwivedi , a native of Lucknow, did his BDS from prestigious King George’s medical College, Lucknow in 1989, and completed his MDS in Prosthodontics under Prof N K Agrawal from the same institution in 1993. He spent major part of his academic career as Faculty, Professor and Head of Prosthodontics at BBD College of Dental Sciences. He joined saraswati Dental college Lucknow in Feb 2020 as Professor in Prosthodotics. His areas of interest are Removable Complete and Partial Dentures, Basics of Gnathology and Dental Materials. He has conducted workshops on Impressions and Cast Partial Dentures and guided research work on Gypsum & Resins respectively. He has 17 publications in national and international journals. Presently he is looking after Postgraduate clinical and didactic curriculum and is involved in PG research projects (theses) related to Dental materials and involved in BDS theory and Practical Teaching.

CAST PARTIAL DENTURES
These prostheses also take support from the natural teeth alongwith the soft tissue hence the alveolar bone does not undergo quick resorption. These are markedly better in terms of retention as compared to conventional plastic partial dentures.
DENTAL MATERIALS
In post graduate academic curriculum, there are library as well as thesis dissertations and students at times have to take these materials for testing and research purpose.
