Including cleft lip and palate prosthetics (the department has continued to provide free maxillofacial prosthetic rehabilitation to the post-surgery cancer patients at Lucknow Cancer Institute since 2011. 523 patients have till date benefitted from this program. Research in maxillofacial prosthetics has yielded 47 publications (35 international, 12 national) and 2 patents.
