Department of Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, organized THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DENTAL SLEEP MEDICINE from 20th- 25th September 2021. This maiden conference aimed to spread awareness regarding the highly prevalent yet underdiagnosed condition of OBSTRUCTIVE SLEEP APNEA(OSA). It was a five-day congregation of experts featuring 18 international and 5 Indian participants who enlightened the young minds on various aspects of dental sleep medicine like sleep bruxism, effectiveness of oral appliance therapy, use of phenotyping and endo-typing in the prediction of non-CPAP treatment outcome, to name a few.
