Introduction
Traumatic dental injuries to the anterior teeth are common occurrences and affect proximally 20-30% of permanent dentition all over the world. This often affects the aesthetics, phonetics and function of the patient.
Chief complaint
A patient came to the Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics with a fractured anterior teeth due to trauma with aesthetic concern.
Diagnosis
Elli’s class II fracture wrt tooth 11
Treatment
Wax mock up was done on cast
Shade selection was done using shade guide
Tooth preparation was done on tooth 11.
Etching and bonding was done followed by light curing of composite resin with the help of putty impression.
Palatal scaffold was created.
Incremental build up of composite was done which was light cured for 20 seconds, followed by finishing and polishing
