Patient came to the department of Oral medicine and Radiology with a chief complaint of a white patch on the left buccal mucosa.

Intraoral examination- A greysih white keratotic patche with cracked mud appearance was present on the left buccal mucosa. It was extending from second molar to left retrocommisural area and was approximately of 20mm×25mm.

Palpation- It was non- scrappable.

Provisional diagnosis of homogeneous leukoplakia was made.

Exfoliative cytology was performed which came out as mild dysplasia.

Laser ablation of the lesion was done with the help of 940nm diode LASER (BIOLASE).
