Apicoectomy is the surgical resection of the root tip of a tooth and its removal together wity the pathological periapical tissue.
the purpose of this case report was to describe apicectomy followed by retrograde filling by bioceramic.
CHIEF COMPLAIT- pain tin the left tooth region
HISTORY- N/R
Investigation- CBCT, Viral markers, CBC, BT, CT
DIAGNOSIS- irreversible pulpitis with periapical granuloma.
TREATMENT- Faulty prosthesis is removed in respect to 22, with the help of tapered fissure. Access Opening is done' in respect to 21, under La. Working length is determined . Canals are prepared using Hyflex CM and obturated using Gutta percha using lateral condensation. Microperiosteal flap is raised. Window preparation irt 21 , periapical curretage apicoectomy is done irt 21 followed by retrograde filling with bioceramic. Cavity is filled with bone graft. Sutures placed.
